Nightscan sits horizontally on the vehicle roof
until needed. A single button operation is all
that is required to fully elevate one of the three
mast options to its vertical position

The light heads can be positioned either 2m,
3.3m or 4.5m above the vehicle. No passenger
or storage space is sacrificed.

  • Suits all applications from small cars to fire trucks
  • Up to 2000w of lighting power available
  • 500w or 1000w AC incandescent halogen heads (110v or 240v)
  • 70w DC metal halide heads (12v or 24v)
  • Self contained air supply to raise mast
  • One button "Auto Stow"
  • Stowed height of 203mm
  • Raises to vertical in 15 seconds
  • 330Ί pan and tilt light heads
  • Can be used for radio antennae, CCTV etc*
NIGHTSCAN NS11 - 3.3m Mast & NS15 4.5m Mast*
  • Suited to the larger fire and utility vehicles
  • Up to 9000w of lighting power available
  • 500w, 1000w or 1500w AC incandescent halogen heads
  • Operates from vehicle air supply or separate compressor
  • One button "Auto Stow"
  • Stowed height of 279mm
  • Raises to vertical in 60 seconds
  • 385Ί pan and 330Ί tilt light heads

    Standard HC1*, Remote control HR1** & Heavy duty HC2*
  • Tested whilst elevated to wind speeds of up to 65mph
  • High strength ball screw actuator provides long reliable life
  • High strength heat treated aluminium alloy tubes and collars
  • Low friction synthetic bearings for smooth operation and long life
  • Bumpers to reduce shock on extension and retraction
  • All exterior mast surfaces are anodised and sealed

OPTIONAL HOUSING
  • High quality GRP keeps insects and road dirt away from the Nightscan
